As long as your child meets the age criteria (1-18 years) and their earache started within the past 72 hours, they can utilize the Pharmacy First service at our Ramsgate Touchwood Pharmacy (CT12). Even if you’re not a registered patient locally, we’re happy to assist eligible children on vacation or visiting relatives.
Does the Pharmacy First service require any special equipment or procedures?
Our pharmacists use an otoscope, a small hand-held device, to safely and effectively examine your child’s ear. This painless procedure takes just a few minutes and allows us to accurately assess the extent of the infection and determine the best course of treatment.
