If your child is between 1 and 18 and their earache started within the past 72 hours, we can assess their symptoms and, if it’s an infection, we can provide appropriate treatment, potentially saving you a trip to the GP.
The Pharmacy First earache service at Touchwood Pharmacy Sydenham is a convenient option for many children with an ear infection. It’s important to remember that it is not suitable for children under 1 year old, those with certain underlying medical conditions, or those with severe symptoms like facial paralysis or high fever. If your child falls into any of these categories, we recommend consulting your GP directly.
