Everything you need to know about the Coronavirus

 

A deadly virus, Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is spreading all over the world and thereby creating havoc. The virus was first detected in a city named Wuhan in China. The name of the disease which this virus is causing is termed as COVID-19 but way before the arrival of this disease in humans, it was found in animals. It is spreading rapidly across the globe. Hence, you must know about the possible coronavirus treatment.

Early Signs of Corona Virus  

Continuous fever, chills, cough, and shortness of breathing are prominent symptoms of this disease. The signs and symptoms may appear after 2 to 14 days after getting infected by the virus. It depends upon the immune system of an individual who is affected whether they can survive it or not.

Since, coronavirus is contagious  it can be transferred to other individuals. Therefore, it is suggested that people should not come in contact with those who are infected. It does not only makes them prone to the disease but also makes them a possible carrier of the same.

It is a known fact that the one who are older have a weak immune system which is why that person has a higher tendency to inhibit this virus. Not only the elderly but coronavirus in babies is becoming common. There are around nine infants, who got affected with the coronavirus, and if the treatment doesn’t work, they will die.

Although it is yet to be confirmed the reason behind spreading this virus. The links show that bats are the primary source of this virus and it has spread from the Chinese animal market. The coronavirus treatment is about the quarantine of individuals who are affected but as prevention is always considered better than cure, it is suggested that people should:

  • Cover their mouths and nose with nasal mask, tissue while sneezing/coughing.
  • Avoid close contact with sick people.
  • Wash your hands with soap.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces after touching.

We should stay in a healthy and clean environment. Also, one should contact their doctor when they feel they have the mentioned symptoms.
